For their display at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo in Florida, AV specialists Electrosonic wanted to showcase a flagship project in a new way. 


AR provided the opportunity to give attendees an immersive look at the landmark, AT&T Globe interactive sculpture, whilst simultaneously expanding Electrosonic’s presence beyond the confines of their booth.

Dr Karl Kruszelnicki

An icon of Australian science communication, Dr Karl is constantly searching for ways to innovate and impart more knowledge. The Dr Karl AR app was developed for the launch of the book, ‘Dr Karl’s RandomRoad Trip Through Science’, and later expanded to include his next major publication, ‘Surfing Safari Through Science’.


Leveraging Karl’s infectious enthusiasm for his topics, the app delivered AR ‘holograms’ for each topic in the book, activated directly from the page. In addition to letting readers hear from Karl himself on the topic of the chapter, the experiences included callouts to further reading and information on the topics, which Karl was otherwise unable to fit within the book.

Sneaker Hub

The Iconic & Wannakicks

2019

With a short delivery window, and a large catalogue of products to include in a new virtual try-on tool, The Iconic needed a local partner to generate high quality 3D models of their sneaker range. 


Using a custom photogrammetry workflow, my team captured, refined and optimised over 60 unique assets, successfully delivering to the deployment partner for launch in under three weeks. 


NRL Fan Experience

McDonald Jones Homes ,  Newcastle Knights & Toybox Films

2021 - 2023

A custom activation built for Knights title sponsor, MJH, allowing fans to have their photos taken with their favourite players as part of a real-time AR experience. Fans could choose from a number of scenarios including a virtual try, goal conversion, team photo and cheer squad dance with the photo automatically captured and uploaded to a custom album on the client’s social media for participants to like and share.


The project was handled start to finish by my team, from concept development and planning, through video direction and post, software development and hardware procurement and setup.

AR PoC

QLD Department of Transport and Main Roads & Accuteque 

2019

Proof of Concept project to validate the use of world scale AR experiences in assisting TMR personnel liaising with property holders in regards to land reclamation. 


Real-time, true to scale AR overlays enabled users to visualise boundaries and property lines directly on-site as they tour a location, without a need to refer to separate site plans or survey info.


The PoC demonstrated improved buy-in with landholders, and a reduced time to reach mutual understanding of aims and impacts.

Freedom Kitchens

2018

Kitchens partner for The Block 2018, Freedom wanted a way to innovatively showcase their offerings for the contestants and audience. 


Working rapidly to construct models of each team’s design, we delivered 1:1 scale AR experiences that allowed the contestants to visualise their designs in-situ, and showcase the innovation of the Freedom brand for the audience at home.
